Slight assembly needed, but very easy to complete. Once assembled the stand is simple but effective. Freed up my desk space whilst offering easy access to ports around the laptop. Works best with the laptop closed, but I have used it with the laptop open, just be careful as the laptop can be top heavy in this stand.

This is fantastic! I connect my work laptop to a dock to use 2 big screens for work. This is dead easy to put together and allows me to easily and securely stand my laptop out of the way while it's docked. And because it's stood upright, it's able to keep cooler as its fans are open to the air.

Great little laptop stand takes up minimal amount of space all while being fully adjustable to suit the thickness of laptops, I'm using this to prop up my razer blade gaming laptop and its works flawlessly without any movement on the desk and to be honest has helped with keeping the temperature down since the fans are not obstructed.

I was a bit sceptical at first, but this stand turned out to be a great buy. I mainly got it to free up space on my desk when I’m not using my laptop, and it does that perfectly. Setup was super simple—just two parts that snap together in seconds.
The packaging was minimal, but honestly, the stand is solid enough that it didn’t need much protection. Once my laptop’s in, it feels stable and secure. The sides are a little rough, so if your laptop has a painted finish, just be gentle when placing it in.
Bonus: I’ve also used it as a vertical document holder in my small workroom. If you’re a bit creative, you’ll probably find other uses for it too.
For the price, it does exactly what it’s meant to—and more. Definitely worth it if you want to tidy up your workspace.

I imagined this being bigger but it’s compact and doesn’t take much space on my desk. I currently have an iPad and MacBook (15.5inch) resting in it and it seems sturdy and well made so far, very happy as I have more room on my desk now.

This is a great laptop stand. I was skeptical when I got it out of the box and put it together because I wasn't sure it would be sturdy, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's designed to automatically adjust based on the thickness of the laptop. This means it's super sturdy with no rocking. Such a simple design, but it frees up so much space on my desk when connecting my laptop to monitors.

Was admittedly a bit dubious when this arrived, as it's quite lightweight. It really does hold up a laptop though! Convenient to clear up space on my desk by being able to stack my Macbook sideways when it's not in use.
Arrives in two parts to save space, and you just click them together. It's a bit like a giant clip, so it will fit most laptops of varying widths.

This is a very simple design but works really well.
It comes in two pieces you clip together as shown.
When the laptop is placed between the two sides it presses down on the base to close the two sides together so closing them around the laptop. It feels very stable and secure - the wide base means it would be difficult topple or even knock over.
It is made from a matt black high quality plastic
I guess this could also be used for tablets as well as any similar sized objects - for example books or folders.
Seems like a good deal at under a tenner.

Such a simple, but clever design. This is saving me so much space on my work from home desk (using the company laptop, but using my own large monitor/keyboard/mouse set up). The two plastic pieces were super easy to put together and they sort of hinge in the middle bottom section, so you can put slim or wide items into it. They are tactile and feel strong, supporting the weight easily. Pic two is a tablet and pic three is a large old clunker of a laptop (personal) and the stand just adjusts and holds them both perfectly sturdy. The other bonus is my work laptop used to heat up and I had it sitting flat on a laptop cooler, but with this stand being vertical, it's not necessary. I highly recommend this product - such a space saver!

My first impressions were not great, however as soon as I put it together and began using it, I was 100% converted. This is simply a storage rack, so to speak, to accommodate anything from a tablet to a laptop. I’m using mine to park one of those original iPad Pros (12.9”). I also tried it with a 13” laptop. (See pix of both.) Once you insert the device, the “arms” at the top come together to lock the unit in place, so it’s quite a secure design. Comes in two pieces (see photo), which are easily fitted together in ten seconds. Construction is reasonably robust (although it looks like metal in the pix, it’s more of a “plastic”-type build, but I believe it will last a long time unless you plan to be rough with it.) Does the job for me.

When I first assembled it, I wasn't too sure if I would like it or not, but I decided that it is smarter than me!
What I like about it:
- Intelligent design! When you drop the laptop into the stand, the pressure on the bottom of the stand actually pulls the arms together, this ensures there is basically no way for your laptop to fall over.
- It seems to be pretty soft plastic so it wont scratch your laptop,
- It will hold a very thick laptop, sometimes I use it for holding 2 laptops at once.

A very simple laptop stand but works very well. It comes in two parts that you just slot together and it's ready to go. They're lightweight so I wasn't sure it would hold the laptop up well but it does. I am using quite a light Chromebook but I think it should work well with a heavier laptop as well.
At £9.99 I think the price is relatively reasonable. It does the job it's meant to with no frills or fuss. I'm chuffed with it.

A good sturdy laptop/table stand that helps save space on your desk while looking smart at the same time. It opens up to around 3 inches so should fit pretty much any laptop/tablet and it uses the weight of the device to then close around it (the bottom is hinged). It does need some assembly out the bag but it's super simple and takes 2 seconds.
I have used it to hold my Dell XPS 15 9500 and it feels nice a stable and does not feel like it will fall over at all. Ideal for a work from home set up where space is limited and you don't require the use of your laptop screen, or you can use it just to store your laptop out the way.
Overall, a good value solution for a clear and tidy desk space.

Works great on my large laptops. I've got a Thinkpad P17 (17" CAD workstation laptp roughly 1.75" thick) in it on my desk. I tested it with all my large and small laptops (from 13" to 17.3") and the adjustable clamp automatically grabs the laptop. The design uses the weight of the laptop pressing on the base to hold the clamps closed, (instead of relying on a spring) so the heavier laptops make more clamping force to hold them in place. Great value for the price and the plastic material isn't scratching up the finish on my laptops.

I recently ended up with two laptops, one for regular use and one for video editing. And since my desk hasn't grown in size to accomodate all these riches, I had to get a vertical laptop stand. This was the simplest version I could find, and it's perfect for my needs! My laptop is hooked up to a monitor and keyboard, so I can use it while it's closed. It sits in the stand and works perfectly.
The stand itself is super light, but very stable. I love that it just slides into a narrow space on my desk, and it opens up to accomodate laptops of any thickness. The design is quite sturdy for all its lightness and very stable.
It's a great bang for the buck.

My work laptop always takes up too much space on my desk. It's always docked when it's on my desk but it's also always in the way.
This is a very simple plastic item that pops together - and yet, it has created all kinds of space for me. I can even tuck my laptop in behind my monitors so it's gone completely.
The base is wide enough that it's not going to suddenly tip over. I think I'd have give it a good bump to knock it over. It's not a particularly fancy item but the plastic appears to be a decent quality of plastic: it's understated and doesn't feel particularly cheap. It blends in really well with my office.
It's a good value and now I use it every single day when I come to work. 5 stars for sure.

Great for holding both my laptops at the same time, which I was hoping it would be capable of doing, and so far, so good. Seems to be made of good-quality material, and the design is very smart, with no way of falling over due to the way this stand sprawls out at the bottom.
